nintendo dsi wi-fi connection for games?

right,i have my internet all set up for my dsi i can get on internet and the dsi shop,my problem is i have the game 42 classic games but when i try to connect for the internet if saysno compatible access point in range ,any ideas,
also my router isnt set to wep is this the reason ,i tried changing it but i need some sort of code

some ISPs don’t support WFC gameplay for some reason. contact your ISP

(also, i’ve heard that some WFC games can’t be played through the “advanced connection” slots, and has to be one of the 3 basic slots, but i don’t have direct experience with that)
